Bergevin has done a nice job with the cap so far. his best players are signed long term, he has $3-4 million in space this year which gives flexibility to add through trade and extend all the guys coming out of ELCs next summer (Gallagher, Beaulieu, Glachenyuk). if only he could unload that Emelin deal at some point...

Oh I know, and I read his name a lot on other websites, combined to the word "sucks". A depth forward who sucks is better to have than a #2 goalie who sucks.

Again, Bergevin made the right decision. Tokarski can do the job and if not, there are better depth goalies available.

...unless the Jets have an opportunity to move Pavelec.

Take a gamble on an Hutchinson/Budaj tandem.

Yeah it's a "who cares" deal. Tangradi will play in Hamilton and I doubt Budaj brings the cup in Winnipeg.

From what I know Tangradi is big guy who isn't very tuff, doesn't score goals and isn't very good in his own zone.

A lot if people were predicting Hutchinson taking Pavelec's job very soon. Thing is, Pavelec came to camp in great shape and Hutchinson had a very bad camp - from what I read.

I don't know how Tokarski will react as a back up goalie, since he's been the starter all his career so far. Will he be able to sit for two weeks and play the occasional game here and there?

That being said, I don't think he can be far worse than Budaj.
