Mark Borowiecki is a cheap shot artist.

He threw 2 punches at Subban while he was down and threw one at prust when he was down.

When a guy is falling or fallen, that should be the end of the fight. Specifically a stupid staged fight like the one last night.

Depends how pissed off you are or what kind of cheap shot started it.

agreed.

This kid is obviously doing whatever he can to stand out in preseason. I can't blame him, but that is cheap none the less.

He's a (frank)ing AHL plug, and not even relevant in the AHL.

I didn't see it, sometimes just watching PK grinning makes me want to punch the TV

I do agree, most scrappers stop when the other guy can't defend

Why is Subban involved in staged fights?

I think the Parros experiment of last season showed that just having a goon on the squad isn't going to do any difference. Guys that can scrap AND play hockey are in demand, if you can't sign or trade for one, might as well try to find them from within your organization.

Habs have a few kids on the way who could fill that role, Jack Nevins, Dalton Thrower, Connor Crisp for instance...but they are not ready yet.

that was a scrap, Neil jumped on Pacioretty, Subban tried to defend him, Borowiecki jumped on Subban...a whole lot of stupidity that could have cost the Habs a lot in the end. Thankfully it wasn't the case.

Exactly, those kind of plays should be treated with heavy suspensions unless warranted with dirty stick work or a late hit. Patches and Subban should rarely be involved in fights

Tangradi and Subban played in Belleville together. Michel Therrien will probably try to use that powerful combo.

also pete I'm the biggest sucker in the world.

I said I'd help schlep cones at hockey sine I figure I'm there with my kid anyway.

just got asked if I can follow a 20 hour certification course as they are "leaning strongly" toward me being head coach of his team.

My response: uhhhhhh duhhhh uhhhhhh

apparently that was interpreted as "yes"

Ps: I do understand and accept that I can't kick kids on the hands with skates on.
