Both of those guys have pretty good offensive upside and decent shots as well, but I get what you're saying. I'd just prefer the upside since both of those guys have shown promise and Weber is what he is at this point and could likely be sent down unclaimed anyway. I know them getting waived is a red flag, but it wouldn't be the first time a solid player was waived.

True, hard to read into the waivers this time of year anyways as I think teams are trying to disguise their intentions, I can't really believe that Col value Guinin and Noreau who are still in camp over Elliott. Same as I'm sure Van values Archibald over O'Reilly.

I don't think anyone is expecting to pick up a #1C on the waiver wire but it would be nice to have some young, skilled depth for a change.

I think Tanev,Stanton,Sbisa is plenty of depth on the roster for D. I thought Weise was a good pickup for us as well, he didn't work in Torts system but at least he can play hockey unlike most guys who are waived like Sestito.

I want to see leafs have Clarkson, Lupul and Booth on the same line. (I know they are all wingers) But it would be awesome to call them the "LTIR" line. Any given game atleast 1 of them will be on LTIR.

It was really quiet in there and when I mentioned another bad season just means good draft picks the assault on me began. They came from everywhere. One guy was really mad. Called me every name in the book and Yeti just stood by and laughed.

If that was me using that language I would be gone for a long time.

Saying that, I took a few good shots but the guy who called me out on the twins age was just so funny. I know what the definition of twins mean.

No secret about my admiration for Horvat. I still think he's the canucks best prospect. But has had a so-so camp. I think everybody has to play their way on to the team, not play themselves off. Perhaps an injury(Richardson?) Horvat could get a 2nd chance. But as of right now he has been out played by others for a top 9 spot
