I missed it again, thought it was at 8:30 not 7:30, did end up with Rask and Smith plus Seguin and some good youngsters including Drouin, Kuznetsov, Yakupov and Barkov, I wanted either Kreider or Hags but probably better off I don't touch any Rangers, I can't believe what I've done to Shady McCoy

Yep I am in a 8 team league. I had the last pick so my first two picks were Murray and Rodgers. Can't complain at all

Gee, now who could you be referring to as a bust in the first round? That is, when we had a first round pick

Huge Specimen? Now playing for Vienna after his 2-game NHL career.

ETA: And for anyone new, I'm your mod (hello!) and am back after a summer hiatus. My interest in Hugh is not a slam at the Rangers, but comes from working for his dad briefly, so I always know what he's up to.

I remember not anyone being thrilled with the pick at the time. He had size, which, although you can't teach it, isn't as important as speed or skill. He does love the game, he just can't play it as well as a #1 should.

Complete coincidence. I didn't even know 'til this morning about Stepan. I was abroad a bit. Got to see Liverpool at Anfield (and they lost...sigh).

If Im not mistaken that kid Morin was picked like 12th by the Flyers. People were comparing the pick to Mcilrath because hes a monster and loves to fight. Wouldnt surprise me if they go at it

I took him in our fantasy draft last night, I'll be more than happy to put him on an IR slot if he should suffer an unfortunate injury this season in his quest for blood
