I'd be ok with that. Playoffs or a top 5 pick this year. Avoid no man's land, and I'm a happy camper. Who the (frank) said happy camper in the first place? Stupid (frank)ing expression. |

I think Boston still takes the division. This is kind of a queer disagreement isn't it? You are thinking that Tampa might be better while I'm an the arguing that Boston might be better - Artyukhin76
It is I agree. I just see Boston having cap issues and TB looks to have some jump. I think I wrote that Boston would take the playoff series...If they meet. Also I think Stamkos will be on fire. Drouin should slide in nicely. They added some D and depth F. Boston is still the better team but may not have the better record.

I agree with you on pretty much everything. However I think Boston takes 1st place over Tampa. - JVR_42_PK81
Cool. Is that mostly because I wrote nice things about the Leafs? |

Tampa is looking like the class of the east on paper anyways.Stevie Y has done a great job.
I still do not understand why Boston gave up on Seguin so quick.they should have been trading Krejci to make room.Seguin must of been making that decision tough for the room is all I can figure, but I see I team on the decline now.
Detroit is always in there and I think they could even supplant Boston this year.Always coming up with more young players.non of the other teams are playoff teams for my money.Toronto will find a way to lose like usual , Florida could surprise and Ottawa needs a new owner to be relevant .

Every year for the past decade, predictions put the leafs ahead of the Sens...yet, the Sens always do better then the leafs!! - Raven33
I don't think the Sens have every beaten the Leafs when it counts, in the playoffs.

Ottawa Senators
Main article: Battle of Ontario
The rivalry between the Leafs and the Ottawa Senators, known as the Battle of Ontario, heated up during the late 1990s, owing to the Canadiens' struggles during that period. The Leafs have won all four postseason series, including one four-game sweep. The rivalry diminished after the 2004-05 lockout, owing largely to the Leafs' failure to make the postseason for seven seasons.

Unless another goalie comes along and steals the show, barring serious injuries, Boston, Tampa, and Montreal are top three. The only threat here I can seriously see to either of these teams is Bernier. |

Yep, the oilers suck as well.im betting they will have a good club long before Toronto will though, however we still will have to watch Toronto on C.B.C every Saturday night.actually I am betting Buffalo, Florida , our any other struggling team will have a good club before Toronto will. |

Listen, I detest Toronto. Lived there for 15 years. Been to tons of games at both arenas and always cheered against them unless they were facing an American team. The atmosphere sucks compared to any other team in Canada because 80% of the arena are corporate snobs. But, one thing I must say, for the first time sinces the Gilmour days, they have something to truly look forward to. They are still a ways away, but for the first time in forever, they have a reason for optimism. Now I will hang myself for paying them a complement... |

I honestly don't see it dude, and even if I did, they would mess it up somehow.its what they do. |

I think people are overrating Boston a little. Krug and Smith still unsigned. When a GM HAS to trade away some bodies in order to sign key players, you can expect a bit of disruption. Chara also looked every bit of 37 last spring. Minus Iginla. I don't see this team holding the top much longer. |
