in fairness, it's not like he's talking about a team that missed the playoffs by 10 points last year. as much as people might want to diminish what Montreal accomplished last year (and this tends to be mainly Canadian fans outside Montreal), the fact is that they finished second overall in the conference when it was all said and done. so suggesting they could achieve similar success this year isn't exactly clouding reality.
