What other out come will there be? You've essentially finish bottom 10 since 2006. The owners and front office have taken a storied franchise and made them the punch line of a NHL joke and EVERY fan has allowed it to happen.

I included that part specifically because I didn't want readers to infer that I was calling him a bust. I just want to give him time to go through his growing pains without undue pressure and higher than high expectations and I'm more irritated that it has to be NHL or nothing for him right now.... If he's not ready for a full time role in the NHL, it's not fair to him!!

I'm incredibly happy with MacT, and I believe he is one of the smartest people in all of hockey. I haven't felt good about the Oiler's management in years, but now that we have MacT, I happy

It isn't just the NHL club they have been trying to resurrect, but the whole organization from the farm team up. They haven't had a proper development system in place which is one of the biggest reasons the team has gotten to to bottom of the poop hole they have been in for the past several seasons. They have corrected this and are hopefully going to be a competitive team for the foreseeable future.
