THIS THIS THIS!!!!
I have been saying this to my buddys for like 3 years. The area they need to address is the PK. They suck. PP is great, 5 on 5 is fine. They are losing many games on the PK. This needs to be addressed and I sure hope the new guys can turn it around... - Hockey_Reverend
The PK was good in the lockout year. They pressured more. Last year they changed for some reason. Became more passive agian and it failed. It went through a period last year where it was successful and it was when they were pressuring again, not being so passive. But when they stopped doing that it went in the tank again. |

I picked some up when you suggested it last week. Kind of spoils you for regular beer.
Going on an annual fishing trip next week, so being able to drink many, many delicious beers one after the other is key rather than 4 or 5 and be toast. Any suggestions? I like Sam Adams as an every day - at home beer. |

If you like ale, a solid one usually at the LCBO (last time I checked) Fuller's London Pride or Fuller's ESB. Not too expensive, but still great.
St. Bernardus Wit is a bit more expensive, but sooo good. |

I'm inclined to agree that this team should have more bite. I think the additions of Winnik and Polak, plus the return of Komarov will help keep the team focused. But that won't matter much if they play defence like they did last season. I think this team has the talent to be better than a bubble team in the East, but again, all for not if they don't learn from their mistakes. - BetterCallSaul
Where is Tie Domi when you need him...?
I have no issue if McClaren is on the 4th line. He isn't going to get many points but his skating is ok, he forechecks hard, and also backchecks hard. Orr on the other hand looks done. He was brutal last year and didn't even fight.
I think if you are going to put a 'goon' on the 4th line, they also need to be given enough minutes. How can a player get into the game, even keep their legs 'warm' when they play 3 minutes a night like last year? Give the guys 10 minutes a night and they will play better... |

Didn't Loov get 2 minutes for that hit or was that later on.
I believe it was a hit on Lazar.
anyways make me think of Danny Markov
Loov & MacWiliam could be a nasty pair to play against. - zazzle
It was the hit later on on LAzar. I don't know why it was a penalty.
really liked Loov's game. skating is really good, and has better puck skills than say Nilson or Granberg. I think he could be the new type of NHL dman..... Good skaters, decent puck mover, decent defender.
IMO the "Stay at home" dman that doesn't mover the puck at all and isn't the greatest skater is going away, replaced by these types that skate better and move the puck better (but they're not offensive Dmen, puck movers, PP QB's) |

If you have room for it I'd highly recommend aging a case. It starts getting really good after a year and by year three it's absolutely insane.
I don't even bother with it when it's fresh anymore. Has to be at least 6 months old lol. It gets so much better over time, it's impressive. |

Hmm. I think it's time to give my sister a call...
It's probably for the best, I wouldn't have the self restraint to age it myself. |

The only reason why I bring Guinness to the Highland games when I hang with my buddies. None of them will drink it, one only drinks Bud, one only drinks Coors and one drinks anything he can find including the pooptiest of coolers, but not Guinness. |

Ya, last year they played very strange on the PK. They wouldn't pressure and just let them have the puck and tried to get into the shooting lanes. Kuli was brutal and it looked like he was doing drills in practice and trying to remember were to go on the ice... and even McClement wasn't very good... |

I'd have major issues aging it myself had I not tried old bottles before doing it. It really motivated me and kept me from dipping into them haha. |

I don't understand just giving them the zone. It makes no sense. When they were pressuring at the blueline they were successful (Lockout year, and parts of last year). They need to fix that this year. |

Heeter and Tallinder make the team after a descent camp setting up the Reimer/Franson trade. Granberg gets called up. Tallinder is numero 7. |
