Can he play in the AHL next year? He's undrafted and started in the KHL, so not sure if the typical rules apply. Would love to see him and Yakimov continue in the AHL - ystoil
At a buck forty five the AHL shouldn't be the plan for him. I don't know what the actual rule is though. |

I thought he was 160? Either way, diminutive I know. But is he really going to be any bigger? Maybe tops out at 175 when hes 25? Unless he becomes a block like Gionta or St. Louis. |

I can see it now, Yakupov scratched for Tkatchev so he can show Yak what the coach wants to see on the ice.

Who knows, but I think another year in Junior is best for both sides. I don't know that he's going to spend too many seasons in OKC. Strikes me as a guy who if he's in the AHL for 2 years that he will go back to the KHL and get a real pay cheque. Get one more year of development in the Q and give him more time to develop. |

I have season tix to the Wildcats and Tkchov is a nice little player. Like the puck is on a string for him on the ice, small yes, but he's a really fun player to watch. Him and Barbashev last year on the PP was sickening. |

I really don't know how legit this is, but apparently us and NYI have some solid offers on Boychuk and Kholchkeav((frank)ing russians names). Would be a signed Boychuk.

That's an intriguing package coming back, but I wouldn't be sending Yakupov for that, even if boychuk is signed
I wish Khokhlachev was bigger but a centre is a centre at this point. Had good numbers last year. |

One guy was speculating a RW, I don't think Eberle or Yak would go the other way but Perron could make a lot of sense. |

Would hate to give Koko and JB for Perron, though. Although I do think Perron would fit nicely in BOS |

I guess there probably could/is more parts. If it was Eberle for those guys we'd want more back I'd think, that and how the heck would that work with the cap anyway? If it was Yak it would be a big mistake on our end. |

I don't see a deal that works for Eberle and Boston IMO. Cap is one issue but getting the value back is another.
