Bourne's an Isles fan and he knows that team inside and out -- I tend to trust his opinion anyway, but for anything Isles he might as well be Carl Sagan.

Isles improved by getting a competent goalie. The past two years our goalies have been the worst in the league. AMac is what he is. Hes not great but hes not as bad as my fellow Isles fans think he is. Hes a decent 4 or 5.

It looks like the Alex Yashin era will sadly come to a close after this year on the Isle when he finally comes off their books.

I'm gonna miss him.

One post ago I was ready to trade him with another asset to clear us of the future cap anchor he is going to inevitably bring, now with this news I'm back to planning the parade! I just peed a little. #FlyersHockey

From best to worst, how would you rate these current contracts:

Jordan Staal - 26 years old, 9 years remaining at $6M/season
Blake Wheeler - 28 years old, 5 years remaining at $5.6M/season
Jason Pominville - 31 years old, 5 years remaining at $5.6M/season
Brooks Orpik - 33 years old, 5 years remaining at $5.5M/season
Dave Bolland - 28 years old, 5 years remaining at $5.5M/season
David Clarkson = 30 years old, 6 years remaining at $5.25M/season
Andrew MacDonald - 28 years old, 6 years remaining at $5M/season
Vincent Lecavalier - 34 years old, 4 years remaining at $4.5M/season

- jmatchett383

Well, Wheeler's is the best by far. He has scored 174 points in 210 games in the past three years.

And Clarkson has six years left, so, from worst to best:

Just wanted to get everyones thought on the LeSean tipgate going on. I have read things about people condeming the owner of PYT and LeSean. My thoughts are even if the service wasn't great you still leave a tip. That is how they are paid. You still ate the food, got drinks and probably whatever else you needed. I think it was more insulting leaving the .20 as a tip then not leaving anything. And I understand people saying just because he is a millionaire he doesn't have to hand out cash. I understand. But I also can't defend LeSean knowing that he is not the most reputal person either. Remember the twiiter war with his baby mama, throwing a woman off a party bus and also the times he no showed to appearances he was supposed to make.
