at this stage? no. if we need someone to step in for somewhere between 10-20 games if Price goes down, i would take DT over MB. - DoubleDown
thanks bro but I've only ever played goal in ball hockey. |

that's what they kept calling him this morning.
It was Elliott Price though and he's particularly stupid so not sure if it's overall but Imma run with it. |

Since everyone's asking for my opinion. I don't want the Habs to sign Brodeur, I'd like them to trade Budaj and name Tokarski as backup. |

Trade Budaj to a team that will make good use of him . I think Bergevin will have to trade Tokarski too if this Brodeur rumor comes true, I doubt Tokarski makes it through waivers. - QuebecPride
at this time of year...NOT ONE team has an interest in a backup goalie.

Oh...he's horrible.
Regardless...the Jets would have 0 interest in Budaj at this point in time.
The point I'm trying to make is that going into training camp every team has in mind who their backup is going to be. If somebody gets injured in camp then maybe they could trade him. |

Price has NOTHING to learn from Brodeur about winning. What the hell could he say to Price? Hey Curtis you know the goal you allowed in the first period? I tell you man, you would have TOTALLY WON that game if you stopped it.
Bad eating and training habits, comes to training camp out of shape year after year... Yeah, I don't want him. My hate for Budaj made me brainfart for a second and I regret already. - Not_Yan

Yeah, Price's track record in fitness has not been spotless, not sure Brodeur is the right influence |

He saunters down to secure the nets, not wanting to wait for targets. His blades cut the sounds of NHL strides. His shot blisters off the crossbar at NHL speed, transferred from wrist to stick-tape with the ease you expect from an NHL sniper. He dangles, smoothly and precisely. He smiles when Tampa Bay Lightning forward Jonathan Drouin steps on the ice, as the two exchange saucers and bullet-paced one-timers before the heavy lifting of intense drills play out over the next hour and a half. - weirdoh
Someone should counter with the homo-erotic Kadri piece from a few years ago...where the reporter was biting his lips...

His salary makes it even more unlikely he gets traded. |

Manics was not a reporter.
It was originally about Coliacavo and someone changed it to suit Kadri.

Can Tokarski get sent down?
If so. Budaj will be the backup. He's apparently great in the room (per Asp). If Price gets hurt (likely sunburn) Tokarski will come up. |
