He's an ass.

But a very talented one. I think (and heard) those inside the Jets organization are split on the situation. I think the big fear is that the lights go on right after they trade him and turns into one of the better power forwards in the game.

I don't think they have the balls to trade him...unless somebody blew them away with an offer of a similar aged, similar upside player.

I don't think it touches Montreal Boston because of the history involved....but it trumps Montreal Quebec IMHO.

Would really hate to see Plekanec go... but it seems like DD has his spot secured next to Pacioretty.

With Eller's new contract, it does look like either this year or next, Plekanec is gone to make room for Galchenyuk, Eller being our new 2 way center. Gally - DD - Eller - Malhotra (or whoever replaces him down the line).

How much is Plekanec worth on the market? Opinions seem to differ greatly on this one.
