Hi everyone!!! - hunglikeapuck
Hey everyone,
Some of you might think I'm trolling and it's fine.
For those of you who don't think I'm trolling, Thank you for nitpicking and criticizing every single thing I said and will say on Hockeybuzz. I know I've said a lot of 'poop' on here. I'm a guy who tries to learn from everything I do in life, whatever it is.
It took me a while to realize it, probably because I'm not always looking for messages(we'll call it youth Ignorance), but I have FINALLY understood that my confidence in my knowledge makes me look arrogant for a lot of people. As all of you, I'm sure, have noticed, when I THINK I know the truth about something, I will argue to death about it. It takes one a lot of patience to convince me of the contrary of 'My' truth. That is, unless I know and consider the person arguing with me as an expert in the subject of argument. (Example, this week when Fred commented on Concrete vs Wood vs Steel)
With time, I've learned to know most of you and your domain of expertises and I hope that I've looked less of an annoying arrogant person. The EE blog is a place where we love to bring past errors in the face of people and I wouldn't love it any other way. But I hope that, once I meet you all(because I'd love to), that arrogant label will fade, if not forever, just a bit [ ]
Let the TLDR/ "ZZZzzzZZZ" festival, begin! |
