For fantasy humans:
Still waiting on:
Blades of Steel
Pali's Peerless
Wang's Fat Son
Dream Team
to let me know what days/times over the course of a week they're available.
I'll wait til Friday at noon and then I'm just going to pick a date that works for myself and those who got back to me. - eichiefs9
I said earlier that anytime is pretty much ok outside of Sunday. Can't do Sunday's |

Noted. Ok three teams left to hear from. Right now I'm kinda leaning towards a Wed/Thurs 9PM draft. |

edit: Wouldn't you benefit from us drafting late (for EST)? If we draft at 9pm you're drafting at 6pm. - eichiefs9

I'd like to see them all put in the cage at once. Then drop the cage in the ocean. - eichiefs9
Can you take Wideman out of the cage first please? I would like to see Ronda Rousey beat the heck out of all of them. |

So they should have moved to Kansas City or Quebec or somewhere else. The team would be hundreds or thousands of miles away, but at least there would be no obstructed seats... - Jethro09
I never said that... I never said they shouldn't move to Brooklyn... please don't imply otherwise.

No, maybe you never did say that, but you can't deny the negative tenor of the posts about the arena based on all the bi*ching about the site lines. Time to be positive. New bldg. state of the art. Billion dollar facility. In Brooklyn NY. For the Next 25 years. Really nothing not to be happy about. |

Im happy they are the NY Islanders for the next 25 years. Thats about it.
The negative tenor is about the building.. it sucks for an NHL hockey team and its major issues wont be corrected.
Im not talking the score board, that can be moved... and even if its not.. it will only effect the players on the ice.. they will hate it.
They couldn't get it done in Nassau.. so F Nassau... Brooklyn here we come, im excited, but i'm not going to act like this is a perfect fit.. because it is far from perfect.

BC has no intentions to do any kind of structural work to correct the issues... all they have plans to do is add seats to the existing structure, which in no way corrects the problem.

That might be the plan right now but that can change down the road if its as bad as everybody is saying it is even though they have never seen a game there |

LOL.. The people saying it's that bad ARE the people who have seen a game there.

What about the people that were there for a game and said it was great? Like I said earlier changes can be made down the road if its a must. Nothing is written in stone that nothing will change |

The seats that you can see the game like 70% of the building... are awesome/just alike any other arena.
Anyone who buys an obstructed view ticket is getting what they paid for.
Im getting the feeling you are seeing me poopooing this entire move... Im not.. if this is what it takes to stay in NY, fine.. I personally like watching the majority of the games on TV.
Where they play makes really no difference to me now that my NVMC season tix will be ending. But this whole topic of convo was brought up by someone else saying there aren't many obstructed view seats.. i was just pointing out.. that's not accurate.

The isles average like 8,000 fans a game (i dont care what they say the attendence is).........when they start selling out game in and game out, then we can discuss the obstructed seating. By that time, im sure they will address/renovate the prob areas.
Until that time comes..........if you're going to attend a game, stay away from those sections. - kindlyrick
Honestly it wouldn't bother me that much. If the teams on a roll and winning like crazy, I'd just be happy to be there. If they're dirt cheap, I'll still enjoy the environment around me and cheering while drunk off my ass |
