Apparently we would've medaled if he was on team usa
But what about JT and nash being on pace for the same amount of goals? Nash is an elite goal scorer yo. - rangerdanger94
Whatever he could've done I would guess would have been more helpful than stepan filling the water bottles. |

Nash is a goal scorer and that's it. JT is a playmaker who also dabbles in the goal scoring trade. I don't think JT is an elite goal scorer yet. He is an elite player because of his combination of playmaking & goal scoring. Big difference between the two. - Vukota
JT just wants to win. He doesnt care how that happens whether it be through an assist or a goal. Winning is that kids main objective. |

Agree to disagree
My original post about how your defense needs to tighten up in front of Halak in order to get out of the basement in GA rankings stands. I dont wanna get into another nash vs okposo vs jt vs stepan rangers vs islanders piss match atm. - rangerdanger94
Who would you take Stepan or JT? Nash or okposo? Be honest. |

In all honest, obviously JT over Stepan (and really any player in the league outside maybe 2 or 3).
Nash over KO. KO had his first great year last year playing with JT who also gave Moulson 4 great years so who knows if KO is the real deal? I know he continued to play well after JT's injury but Nash has a more proven track record and still outscored KO in terms of pace in what many consider his worst professional season. Nash was on pace for like 39 goals during the lockout year and real close to a PPG player. His bad regular season last year could be considered an amazing year for the average NHL player and I'm willing to forgive his playoff performance one final time only because his scoring woes were not due to a lack of effort. Age and contract make it a tougher choice between Nash and KO but based on pure talent and skill and ability, Nash is better. |

Contracts, age, where their careers are headed. One is on the way up, one down. Pretty obvious but not to Ranger boy. |

Kyle Okposo who many of you consider to be an elite winger scored 27 goals in 71 games last season playing the majority of the season with Tavares and Vanek. Rick Nash scored 26 goals in 65 games playing with much lesser talent. John Tavares, one of the greatest players in the NHL, was on the same pace as Nash (33 goals) had they both continued their pace for 82 games. Perspective. - rangerdanger94

Better goaltending than the Rangers, better defense than the Kings, better offense than the Blackhawks, and a Battle Level that's well into The Cappy Zone. The only way this doesn't happen is if some underhanded villain sweeps Josh Bailey's leg. |

There's been a lot of these stupid comments lately. Okposo is not elite. Neither is Nash. I don't know where these are coming from either. |

Let's wait to see if Okposo is able to break 25 goals again before we say for sure his career is on the way up.
Okposo over his career has scored .25 goals per game. Nash has scored .43 goals per game. Sorry if I'm not willing to write off Nash's entire career and claim Okposo is better based on ONE year (a year where Nash did better than Okposo btw...) |

Nash is a good player, he was once a great player but has slowed down just a bit, but if he has another average year don't be surprised if they try to deal him bc that contract is horrible for a couple of more years.........
Edit: have u heard that they tried to trade Nash for Thorton but SJ turned it down |
