I don't have a crystal ball so I don't know if the contract will be a good one a few years down the line.
I'll tell you else who has serious reservations about his worth, Bergevin. Do you think they would have had the initial arbitration hearing if he didn't?
He ended up acquiescing to the media and fan base. Time will tell if he made the right decision. - TheRat14
lots of players go to arbitration. any RFA that's due a big increase like that should expect arbitration.
and no crystal ball needed. the way the cap is going, and overall salaries, this will a good deal in a few years when Norris caliber Dmen are getting 8 figures. and i'm a (frank)ing B's fan. |

While Richards was right I am not whining. I wouldn't want him on Philly with that price tag. Good on you guys for having him. - TheRat14

jordan • 2 days agoI really never liked how tsn shunned the habs, the toronto sports network i was at first happy they lost there contract cause they never gave any love outside of toronto. rogers might be even worse, i already heard of petitions going around, the montreal canadiens are CANADAs team thats why they are the canadiens and they media companies like bell and rogers own the laughs and try to make them the world wide brand, thats a joke, the canadiens are the yankess of hockey and the true national team, they are by far the most successful franchise not only in this country but on the whole planet, now they have the current best canadian team with a visable minority as the face of the franchise and they still wont get love. why? its bad buisness tsn and rogers own the laughs, not the habs. even though bell is invest 13 % in the habs their 37.5% investment in the leafs where there money is talking. yes the habs have french coverage but this team was coast to coast forever and now rogers has completely made that tradition end. time for me to switch companies. id go back to videotron but they are owned by a separatist.

i was just thinking the same thing. love that as soon as he skates back on defense the Benny Hill theme song comes on and he starts falling all over the place, arms and legs flailing out of control. if he gets hurt a little ambulance filled with about twenty clowns dressed as doctors ...(or is it doctors dressed as clowns, i can never be sure)
come to his rescue. good times...worth every penny. |

i never thought TSN was all that bad when it came to the Leafs. sure a bit more coverage but they're the biggest market. squeaky wheel gets the grease. Sportsnet is an abomination though. |
