You will have his rights for quite some time by giving him a 2 year deal...he will still be a RFA in 2 years.

Most Columbus fans won't want him moved. However, Jarmo and JD need to build this team the right way with TEAM players.

As far as your trade proposal...Jarmo has ran drafts for NHL teams dating back to the 90s with Ottawa.

Yup, you can thank Kurt Blohardt for that one. I agree RJ should take the bridge deal like every other new NHLer. Prove you are a top performer for more than one season, then you will get you 7 year, 50M contract.
