My feeling (which could be wrong) is that Wang is continuing as majority owner for the next two years to manage the transition from the old building to the barclays center. If his asking price of 548 million was actually met (no confirmation yet) then I find it very difficult to believe even as minority owners for two years, the new duo will not have a significant voice in any business decisions. Snow could be replaced sooner than the next two years, although I think it’ll take the Isles missing the playoffs for that to happen.

In any case, the team will be sold. We have a new building, the tv deal is still the richest for any team and with ownership that doesn’t want sumo’s in net, things are looking up.
