I saw that also, the bleacher report does these "blah blah situation" for each team articles which often seem to take a shot in the dark when it comes to the Devils. Larsson does have to prove his worth this year though, I am excited to see him play as a regular.

Yeah I don't think they try very hard, at least for the Devils. I can't wait to see Larsson actually back in the lineup, hopefully permanently. I really don't see him as the most likely trade candidate.

That is actually an interesting Idea:

Cambo - Zajac - Jagr = 30% Ice time
Henrique - Elias - Havlat = 30% Ice time
Brunner - JJ - Ryder = 20% Ice time
Clowe - Zubrus - Ruutu = 20% Ice time

Really is like having a 1st line, a 2nd line and two 3rd lines.

i never knew matteau was considered an excellent skater and i am not saying he isnt its just a pleasant surprise i do however dislike how right in there that smug wiener conte says he projecta as a third liner and when we could of taken a scorer like pearson instead it just goes to show that for first round picks he is looking for defense or third liners its said that we dont try to draft a forward with first line potential because lou must want to grab a bunch of old dusty free agents who are over thirty to fill first line roles and thats not a shot at cammy i like the signing but all the term and money he has handed out instead of drafting bpa which although i like some of our picks from this past draft i dont think he picked the bpa once and the more i think about it the more i think he should of been able to get schneider for less then what could end up being a superstar forward he shoulf of thrown in the second rounder to to see if he could of gotten schneider and their late first for the ninth and thirty ninth picks but hey i think i might of just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning lol

I love the fighting element of the game, in other pro sports they constantly talk trash and nothing comes of it, like basketball and football, they are talking trash 100% of the time. I am willing to bet if you could punch someones face off in other sports and get off setting 5 min penalties, there would be a lot less bs trash talk.

Reminds me of when Kevin Garnett kept saying over and over "Happy Mother Day Mother(Frank)er" to Tim Duncan on the court just after Duncan's mother had just passed away. He would have gotten face punched into oblivion if he did that on the ice. I wanted to punch the douche in the face for that, it is just wrong.

They didn't fold, the rangers don't want the whalers to come back so the changed the name back. Connecticut whale was to just build interest in the state again, it was working and the rangers owners made a call and said change the name back.
