Thanks, Watson... but that only explains the apostrophy part and not the 'S' part -- so it would be, 'babys mama' per this article... and not, 'baby mama'... or the jiberish spoken at times in this game.

Me thinks that you had the better idea earlier when you suggested not to make anything out of all 'this'.

((Can anyone please tell me why the 'apostrophy S'
- ForeverFlyer16['s] is beginning to disappear from the English language? -- example: baby mama.

This game is getting like that... We're speaking like Tonto or Tarzan lately ))

Actually, names ending in the letter "x" (which has an "s" sound) and the letter "s" would only end in an apostrophe (ie., Prax', or Moses') Just FYI.

(I understand that... But we're not even getting that here... Also, at times, IMHO, right or wrong it is best to include the 'S to get the meaning across in an instance were it may not be perceived the correct way; the purpose of writing is to transmit ideas more so than it is to use proper English grammer... IMHO it is better to get your point across than it is to correctly use the English language -- In many case the correct English is the better way to convey thoughts, but sometimes it is better to stress something to be sure you have gotten the correct meaning across... especially on such a loose forum as these Internet forums.

All this is neither here nor there in my original lighthearted complaint on this thread... which was about the plot taking a turn to possessive from a non-posessive lead.)

(I'm so chillin' I'm like machillan -- <<< a take-off of the 'gelling' shoe insert commercials.

I'm not upset nor worked up nor anything like that... I was merely making conversation on the topic. I didn't mean for it to come across in any other manner.

I sometimes get onto a point and bleed it to death... until I get on other people's nerves; so sorry. )
