Carol, the wording used to describe Don Taylor's exit from Sportsnet sounds more to me like he was forced out, but given a nice parting package to ensure the negative backlash doesn't hit the station. As he has been the face of Sportsnet Pacific since it's inception viewers have a much stronger emotional tie to him than Craig MacEwan, so it makes sense that Rogers wouldn't have bothered going to such lengths to smokescreen his departure.

I could be wrong, but I guess that's what the networks get when the media goes to such lengths to create a culture of deception and mistrust.
