Yes if awarded by arbiter. Habs asked for 1 year and it's their choice. - AGalchenyuk27
Now that arbitration has started, doesn't it have to be decided by the arbitrator? They can no longer work out their own deal, right? |

Indeed he did. Also, he played a convict character called Nailz for a bit |

Makes sense because each side chooses 1 value and the arbitrator decides on one or the other or somewhere in the middle. Adding term variables would complicate that too much. So I'm going with the assumption that they failed at locking him up long term, and are going to have to negotiate with him again. Well played Habs, well played - 1979AD
At least they asked for 1 year so that, if these negotiations go pear-shaped, thay have another shot next summer. If they go 2 year deal, there is a better chance PK walks.

Obviously not close enough. The only thing I laughed about was how Bruce's sax player looks like he can party just as hard as the Sheik - TheThrill
i laughed, i will laugh again, its one thing to party hard, its another to be crazy enough to do enough drugs in one night that you pay the price the rest of your life.
its sad for the guy and his family, but its funny to me that one does enough drugs in a night to blow their gasket for the next year.

I think your sax player could handle everything ol' Sheiky could throw at him! - TheThrill
actually bobby went through a week of hell and got off drugs, he's drinking and smoking like a trucker from 72' but he's gone clean.
makes me very happy actually. |

If he has another season like he's capable of, and maybe even gets better, he's going to cost a lot more next summer. I like to see this. |

Team decides if they want 1 or 2 years.
Habs have already stated they want 1 year, keeping Subban as a RFA after next season. - Scabeh

They can still negotiate a deal until ruling. |

It looks that way from the outside.
I guess we don't really know how these things go and we don't really know what the relationship is with PK and the Habs.
This could all end well.
I hope it blows up in their faces since some ridiculous Habs fans are pretending like they are somehow oh so fcuking knowledgable and the rest of us are stupid for over-reacting. So typical of a Habs fan.

think its the GM? or maybe ownership has capped what they're willing to spend on him?
it makes me wonder if they go for the one year deal.. and shop him all the damn year and make a big move at the draft to get the number one or something.
