Oh sure! Lindros was younger and nowhere near UFA. I'm not saying PK would bring back the same return. I'm just saying it's not because everybody knows you have to deal a player that you cannot get a good return. If you have a good asset to trade away, you'll get a good return.

i never said the return wouldn't be good. i said Montreal is likely to lose that trade. it's not being pessimistic Marty. it's an educated assessment based on multiple scenarios that mirror this one and have played out in the past.
