K, it's not Hammels. It's Hammel. If it was Hammels, they have two of the top 5 lefties in the game. But point is, Lester's acquisition bumps Hammel out of the rotation. Kazmir was injury prone, but is having an incredible season. He has 12 wins and an ERA under 2.50. As for Gray, he's new, and so unproven, but he also has 12 wins. Can't ask for much more than that from the back end, can you? |
