Players get paid in USD.
So for Subban to make 9mil this year, he would make 9.765mil in Canadian dollar.
It's quite an advantage to play in Canada right now. - l3ig_l2ecl
i wonder if Canadian players are paid in Canadian or US funds. i know their salaries are in US figures but the guys living in Canada need Canadian funds to live on and the team's revenue is in Canadian funds. so i wonder if the team just pays them at the current conversion rate in CAD. these are things that keep me up at night. |
