Id love to see him move and shut all these Habs fans up. Aside from winning the NORRIS on a half season, he hasnt contributed anything that counted for anything, having said that he is far above Phenuff ,#3 is the biggest plug in the league by far and shouldnt be a captian

i like how NORRIS is capitalized. really drives his point home. solid communication.

Crosby?

EDIT: Yup. Went from his 3 yr ELC to $9.0M/yr, but he was 4 yrs from UFA, not 2. http://www.capgeek.com/player/476

EDIT 2: And his deal was 5 yrs, not 8...but probalby the closest comparable in terms of RFA signing for north of $8M AAV.

Is PK in the same category as Crosby?

I don't think he is... not yet anyway.

They are haters of the Habs. They will always exist, because any team with the history that the Habs have, regardless of their struggles since 1993, will promote jealousy. These comments and such, are the result of that.

He isn't. But salaries were not as high back then, so his number was huge.

They are both game-changers. Both elite players that their teams could/can not afford to lose. Crosby is a generational talent, PK is not.

I'd say they belong in the same conversation, but I would still put Crosby above PK.
