I voted for a young player over Penner but there is a scenario where I would welcome him.... like Benning trading Markstrom and a bottom six like Hiigins or Hansen for picks then sign Penner to 1 year. This would free up a spot for both Penner and a young player.

Nice little pipe dream, but can you imagine if Penner actually minimized his pancake ingestion to perhaps only a few dozen each day, what a truly dominant forward he could become. Talk about a waste of so much power forward potential

Edit: I hope to hell they never have a pancake buffet anywhere within a 400 mile radius of Penner.

Their first time playing Vancouver at Thee Commodore Ballroom, with the original dance floor. Joe Strummer was filling in as their last minute guitar player. T he place went completely ape-poop the entire night!! The two encores were, "I Fought the Law" & then "London Calling"!!!

Good shoight! great venue (loved the ole dance floor and just the whole ambiance of the place), and Joe Strummer filled in?! (#$@#$ love The Clash) , sounds like a wicked show, indeed

By the way, @#$@#@#$ you Country and line-dancing, as that was apparently and allegedly one of the reasons that springy/awesome dance floor was replaced
