who the (frank) guaranteed it? Don't put words in my mouth.
I posted a tweet where Stamkos favorited, and a link to where HE said "we'll see what happens" . I didn't guaranteed anything, but it was Stamkos who stirred the pot and didn't shoot it down, like others would. - MCharisma91

No they are all bad moves. Especially the Bobrovsky trade - sbroads24
How do figure. Voracek out produces carter every season plus we got Couturier who cracked the Roster at 18 and a draft pick. Simmonds out produced Richards every year plus we got Schenn and a draft pick.
Last time I check Bobrovsky got poop on in the playoffs, Mason who we got for nothing is the only reason the Rangers Series went top seven games.
I don't care what anyone thinks about Bryz because he is irrelevant and I am not a big Fan of the JVR trade. I like Luke but he is a #4 Dman right now and likely stays that way while JVR is a top line winger. |

Come with some better facts than bad long term contracts of players that are no longer there from an owner who's completely idiotic and hamstrung the organization financially bc of the retarded politics of Nassau county.
Edit: My point is that if your saying the isles have the worst management bc of 2 bad contracts of past players, then I guess its not as bad as 2 bad current contracts of your GM..... - Ur Not Me
I already did come with better facts than that. Moulson deal, Kulemin, etc. I guesss you felt those were great moves.

Let me help you understand just a little...
Moulson was not part of the future, so Snow took a gamble on/for a better player in Vanek. A risk that will depend on whether where the isles finish in 2015 (still unknown).
U keep bringing up Kulemin? Why bc of $$$, last I checked isles needed to spend to get to cap floor, plus isn't Kulemin a very good defensive F (which the team needed)? also its only for 4yrs not 5,6,7 like some players received (Bolland, Orpik, etc).
The only thing that the management didn't do is try to bring in NHL caliber D and hire a professional coach/staff. So ownership hindering the financial strings and we both know good D is hard to acquire.... |

Facts: trade for vanek even everybody knew he will test fa and want to go to minny (you really think an top scorer would sign for non playoff team istead of playoff team) and trading your captain linemate and friend and one of few guy who actually liked playing in nyi moulson, kulemin and grabo are good players but badly overpaid, they couldnt atract single top ufa in years (remember 100mil 10 year to kovy) and trading nino niederreiter for bottom six winger is good thing, hell they even tried to trade all of their picks in 2012 for murray. I really feel sorry for tavares, he is my davorite player and only good thing this team has done lately, its just matter of time when he will request trade out. Things looked good after last season but not now. They should learn from cbj...btw i will admit grabner and cheap re-signing own players is good thing but..btw yes canes are in bad spot now because we are so in loved in name staal although we should go in retooling (aka whats stars did last season). |

The Vanek trade was the biggest gamble in years that Snow has made, in my opinion even tho it doesn't look good right now, but until I see where the isles finish next year to completely evaluate the trade (is that fair to say).
The Nino trade was by impulse and might be a downfall on Snow.
The trading of the whole draft is inaccurate, Kovy - signed for a higher deal w/Devils so I'm not getting your point on FA's contracts when Isles had/need to acquire NHL players & reach cap floor almost every year.
Now I'm not saying isles have the best management in the league, but I am saying that I've seen worse w/other teams that have MUCH MORE to work with....

These clueless ppl think they know more about the islanders when they know nothing about there own team... - Ur Not Me
I assume you're referring to me. I'm clueless because of the facts???
Snow traded a popular player, who had chemistry with your only superstar, ALONG WITH a 1st round pick for a pending UFA who was widely speculated to test the market July 1st.......knowing full well the Isles could be a lottery team.
Trust me I know exactly what Kulemin and Grabovski bring to the table. I like them both. Grabo was my favourite Leaf for a while, but still extremely overpaid. Kulemin especially. You cannot use reaching the cap floor as an excuse to grossly overpay two players. Good management can work around that. |

really? a team that was 13th in goals is gonna be easier to make than a team that outscored only the expansion sabres? (nucks)
27 points for setoguchi, thats top 6 for vancouver! - GardinerExpress

You do realize that with the Canucks roster, they're set to spend quite a few years in the basement right? |
