Dude, I'm from Halifax and it reminds me a lot of it. Plus, I need to get out of Toronto before I go crazy. I hate the busy/rush/smug business lifestyle here now. I'm committing one weekend a month to go party in Toronto. It'll be HA level weekend benders

When I moved down here, I gave up a small business GM job and started working retail down here. Hopped to another retail job and make twice as much doing my current work then I did as management before I moved. Worked out. I miss Michigan and Canada (family has a couple cabins up there) a lot.

Chik-Fil-A. I don't eat there out of principle now. Good chicken, but (frank) their owner. And yes, the BBQ down here is AMAZING. St. Louis has the best ribs in North America, though.

To be fair, most of my friends moved out of the state around the same time I did. My family is now scattered from Toronto to Ireland to Iowa to Florida to Texas. Only my parents still live in Michigan and thats not certain to last very long either. I just miss.. Michigan.

Sleeping Bear Dunes, Grand Haven, Manistee, all of the Upper Pennisula, downtown Grand Rapids... its all fun. You become addicted to water activities for obvious reasons. Not too mention the hockey culture. But I really can't say much when everyone in this thread is from (frank)ing "Hockey, eh" Canada.
