I agree...but I really think he is the problem with san Jose in the playoff's.If we pay a heavy price for a veteran I want some serious fcking leadership to go along with his production. Someone who can tell Hall and Ebs and Yak how to get it done and then show them. Marleau is so ....I dunno...read Roenicks book, he blasts Marleau pretty good for not giving a fck about winning.

I have no illusion that he is talented and he would help improve this team. I worry that it hurts the future too much to try and acquire him.

SJ is not just going to unload him for a bag of chips...and his salary means that the Oil don't afford Shultz.

I would rather pay dearly for a Top Pair Dman than Pat Marleau.
