Morris is the antithesis to the tv sitcom watching intelligence of most of the posters here. he is intelligent and not afraid to use it.

The idea here is that most all sitcoms are written at a grade 6-7 intelligence so that it attracts teh most people. the majority of Amurica can get the jokes and not feel left out. American tv is fairly dumbed down.

He can't help it if some people are overcome by insecurity after reading his comments.

I remember watching a rerun of AitF at a buddy's place a few yers ago. His black friend came over and had never seen Archie Bunker before. A few of us were laughing cause it was such a memory ride...the black guy was stunned that we were laughing at the bigot on tv.
