What does that matter? We're talking about Toronto. You guys love to deflect any truth about "the centre of the universe." It's a big city but I wouldn't say it's particularly nice or anything. And the Leafs are a bad team. No reason I would want to play in toronto other than to be closer to that side show mayor. He is pretty funny.

I've long forgotten the original argument - and for the record there is a 0.001% chance Stamkos leaves TB at his next contract - but I believe it centred around SS being able to attract a greater $ in endorsements due to the media exposure in Toronto. He'd catapult no doubt to the top if he ever did sign here, but realistically that's not happeneing. Let's not forget the GTA is the 4th largest market in North America behind Mexico City, LA and NYC...people around here may not like that fact, but a fact it is.

I've lived and traveled very extensively. Best city I have been to: Barcelona. I would really like to live in Europe some day.
I liked Montreal, Quebec City and Vancouver better than Toronto. Montreal and Quebec City have a lot of culture. Vancouver is so (frank)ing gorgeous and I found there to be lots of hot girls. I recently went to Calgary and actually did not mind it. But I guess it is snowing there every other time of year. Toronto I think is a bit confused. They have an identity crisis.

Everyone is right and I am wrong...Steven Stamkos on the 0.0000001% chance he signs in Toronto as a UFA will have all of his current endorsements pulled and will forever play second string to Joffrey Lupul's GotStyle campaign and live in the shadow of Phaneuf's Red Bull contract by signing with that second rate Monster Energy. His deal with the local Chevrolet dealership will forever overshadow anything available in Toronto, the GTA or Golden Horseshoe.

I agree that Barcelona is pretty awesome. I love downtown Vancouver, but the cost of living there is so unbelievably prohibitive. Montreal and Quebec are both fun cities, but I couldn't live in Montreal permanently (people there are CRAZY!). Calgary I'm not a fan of at all, but more the people rather than the city per se. Personally, I jut really like Toronto. Lots to do, great transportation hub, and having the wife's family there really helps.

Other places I would like to see however are Berlin, Munich, Zurich, Geneva, Split and Stockholm
