My boss has a huge salary and gets bonuses depending on how well out division does. But I see enough poop to go wrong that I doubt they are getting big bonuses. And the stress associated with the responsibility is not something I'd want to deal with. They are trying to promote me but I really don't want to move up, even tho the $$$ is twice as good.

Albertans are so racist towards leafs fans hahaha.. They always mute the TV when the leafs highlights are on. Just the way they were raised. Hate Ontario hate hate hate!!!
But enough about all this, people are ignorant everywhere you go. Both places are better than The US so I'm not complaining.

I think, for many reasons, they’ve become among the worst destinations of any NHL team. Can’t really offer up much $$$ to players. And if they do to one player, that player knows that they won’t offer it up to other players, so the team will never compete. Not a very attractive city to young millionaires. High taxes relative to most NHL teams. One of the worst climates, aside from Edmonton and Winnipeg. Buffalo too maybe. I can’t see too much interest in any decent free agent going to Ottawa.

Ottawa is a great place to live. I loved it there. Wayyy better than the peg, cal, edm, and most smaller American markets.

Why is the economy seem to be failing in Ontario ? They unemployment numbers have not been good . Watch CBC or CTV news quite often . Travel up there at least once a month and small business owners I know in numerous fields are not happy with the economy.

Because Ontario's economy grew around the manufacturing industry and the Canadian manufacturing industry isn't what it used to be. Ontario's economy isn't thriving but it's not struggling.

Additionally, your comments on endorsement revenue are absurd. Advertisers do not pay based on talent (that is what teams pay for) they pay for attention. Playing Toronto Stamkos would receive far more attention (and by extension his endorsers would as well) in Toronto than any other market in the NHL.

If he were to bring a Stanley back to Toronto he would be elevated to another level. In terms of fame and prestige he'd be on par with Gretzky, Keon and Howe. Tell me how he gets to that level in the states. It just isn't possible in today's NHL. Hence, why he may consider coming home.

Booth is a joke of a pro hockey player. He only had to be a supporting player for 4.2 million and couldnt pull up his own socks. Hansen is bettter.

I'm not sure what's so funny about that. They're both among the elite in the league. Both similar production. Butvtavares is managing that himself, where stamkos has had the help of some other elite players. I'd happily take either, but I think I'd take tavares first.
