49.99 plus the 26.22 for shipping.

Gotta remember in the 80's they just kept making the same thing for years on end but only changing the date on the box.

That one is identical to the 1981 version.

He was great. Looked like a pro goalie.

So did Johansson. Makarov struggled with some easy shots

Makarov did let in some questionable ones, but he also made a couple really slick glove saves. I wouldnt count him out.

He wasn't very good in his own end.

That's why I put the other two in front of him. I have him in the top ten though.

Orr
Lidstom
Pronger
Harvey
Stevens
Neids
Bourque
Coffey
Langway
Murphy

Late to the discussion but here are some thoughts I had based on the camp so far and comments from Nolan etc..

Risto: is a 100% lock for the big roster this year no doubt about it.
Ruhwidel: signed the 2 year deal today unfortunately it is a 1 way deal it appears which means there will be a very crowded blueline.
:I know most of you want Zadorov in Juniors but based off of his comments and his play I think he deserves to be a rotating D man here.. Ideally he'd be playing against men this year in the AHL getting big minutes not dominating little boys in Juniors but I wish the D wasn't so crowded here because it wont do him much good for another year in juniors.
:Originally I thought McCabe would be with the Sabres but I'm betting now he starts in Rochester.

On the offense..

I think Grigerenko is a fringer. He will probably start in AHL but I have a feeling he gets the mid season call up.

I think reinhart looked like the player we all expected: smart and skilled but not flashy - but his lack of size kind of showed in the scrimmage. With that being said, its not that hard to bulk up. However I wouldn't want to see him go out and put on 10 pounds before the season as it could throw off his game bulking up that quickly. This is the only reason I'd like him to go back to juniors so he can put on muscle over the season and have time to better acclimate to these changes in his frame.

There may be a lot of bodies for the defense, but there's always a need for more skill back there.

Myers-Gorges - Lock 1st pairing IMO

Meszaros and Weber are the only other signed veterans.

-Can't agree, even with the added uncertainty of a 2-way contract.
-fixed
-Myers, Gorges, Weber, Meszaros, Ruhwedel, Pysyk or Risto, Risto or vet (low vet minutes would be smart as opposed to benching one of Ruhwedel/Risto/Pysyk.)
-The kid still has some polishing to do, especially in the positioning department. He's like McNabb in the sense that he can take himself out of position by going for big hits. He has another year of development to overtake guys like Pysyk and Risto, who are the only other guys on 2 way contracts. He will not be challenging those two for a full time NHL position this season. 99% confident.
-With the right player development coaching, he can work on the finer aspects of his game in London so that he becomes a smarter player in Rochester or even Buffalo in 2015.
-Yeah, he had limited experience in the AHL and there's no need to rush that kid through a solid year of professional hockey. Same with Zadorov.
-Re: Grigs.. who knows. I think it would take a mammoth offensive effort along with the current two way improvement he's showing to get called up here over guys like Adam or Larsson.

I think he's the kind of guy where he can adapt quicker than most to the style of play he needs to. IMO I don't see him going to Juniors at all next year..

Everyone from his WHL coach to WHL annalists to Murray's comments etc. Lead me to believe he will be here next year. He can learn to be a bit more careful when players go in for hits and I don't see it being that big of a problem.

Well obviously you haven't been listening to every single thing out there. He's a lock. I'd state my avatar on it.

In my mind its

Myers Gorges
Risto Meszaros
Psyk Weber
Ruhwidel

That will probably be the top 7 Even though Zadorov probably deserves a spot over a few of the guys.

If the Sabres get 2 picks in the top 5 next year, with one of them being #1, do you trade the #1 and Myers to Nashville for Weber?

He definitely can play, but no way is a lock.

As far as Zadarov, I'd wager he's a lock to be sent back.

They would have to waive someone to keep all the bodies they have.

Myers, Pysyk, Weber, Mezaros, Georges, Ruhwedel, and maybe Ristolainen are the 7 they will keep IMO

He'll likely play some games up here but wouldn't call him a lock for 82 in any event. If he can get better in the AHL logging over 20 minutes a game on a winning team I can see him being sent down.

If we do not sign another vet, I will agree with you. If we do sign a vet, I'll bet my avatar he starts in Rochester.

Unless I hear Tim Murray with the 100% endorsement, I'm not on board. I think he needs to prove his conditioning has increased. I suppose seeing him in NHL training camp would help a lot.

Nolan and everyone else in the organization has been drooling over this kid in camp. I think he's a lock. Like I said I'd state my avatar picture on it as a friendly wager to anyone wanting to do the same..

I agree I think Zadarov gets sent back most likely but if I had it my way he'd be here and Weber would be traded for a 5th round pick..
