I don't think he's a bad skater but he does fall down quite a bit.
- dadeadhead

if he was 6 foot 1, he would be labeled an average skater

That will happen. Girgensons falls quite a bit too, I wouldn't call him a bad skater

Agreed...but had midway swung the other way... And the us took the carrier losses that Japan sustained they had free run to Hawaii and it would have crippled us at least for a long time

He learned so much from WWI yet deviated by getting us into the war

If he could have forced Japan to show a little more patience, and took England out while we did nothing, it would have been a different outcome

after saying that, I think he was the worst man ever to walk this planet

I did not know this

"Selleck served as a soldier in the 160th Infantry Regiment of the California Army National Guard[12] and his unit was activated for the Watts Riots in Los Angeles."

Funny part is that you probably believe Myers is a bad skater, just like you probably think Vanek was sober in Sochi
- sbroads24

Ouch. Vanek smack after one comment.

I don't believe Myers is a bad skater. I think he is an average Hockey d-man with above average hype

We will see I guess. I don't believe average defensemen have the type of games he had last year on the lowest scoring team in decades

But like others will say, he should be winning the Norris, scoring 50 points, killing everything that moves, and never falling down on the 30th place team. Sounds reasonable

Myers problem is that he hit his ceiling immediately. He doesn't have a typical nhl growth chart. He is essentially settling down into his norm, instead of settling up into his norm.

Unfortunately that takes away all the promise and hope of him being an elite D-man.

I'm not a Myers hater, but why does it matter what place team he is on? He should still be playing great hockey if he's so great, and the team around him would be the reason they suck.

I don't want to get rid of him (not even had they gotten Ekblad, I never understood that argument), but to put blame on his game (game, not stats) on how bad the team is overall isn't too good.

As much as I wish he's done more, at the same time we need to temper our expectations. Not because we should make excuses for him, but because of all the turmoil in the organization.

Say what you will, but a guy that has his head on straight would have struggled in this organization the last few years. He didn't help himself any by admitting he came into camp out of shape and all of that in the past, but it seems that he's learned from it and will be better prepared.

If he could stop getting hurt, that would help tremendously as well.

It's hard to be a great player when you have absolutely no support. He deserves a lot of the criticism he gets, but at the same time, he hasn't exactly been in a great situation either.

Based on your argument, Edmonton probably should have won the Cup this year. With the amount of players they have that should be great based on their draft position.

Again that really wasn't the issue. We were in the war prior to Pearl Harbor. The US was selling both sides weapons. That's neither here or there though. He made a pact with Stalin and then double crossed him. Leave him alone and he takes out the UK and then can focus on going after us.

To bad Risk wasn't around back then....
