I didn't really notice him much.

These are the guys that I happened to notice a bunch:

Zadorov
Reinhart
Girgensons
Grigorenko
Catenacci
Schaller
Florentino
Ristolainen

Tall , Nothing flashy. Seemed to skate pretty good . Everyone looked average imo. These guys just got together a couple days ago ,so it's expected. Also most haven't played a game since they were playing in Jr's.

I watched the stream . So could have missed some behind the camera plays.

I was just poking fun cuz someone questioned if she has really ever had any impact on anyone.

Not necessarily pointed at you Stash, apologies for not being clear. I've just seen it discussed on here recently and it's obnoxious that people are ripping on and blaming the skating coach

Not necessarily all for good reasons. Many of the D stuck out though because they were technically short handed. There were only 5 per side.

Another interesting note. Team White had 10 Canadian players, 4 American and the rest Euros. Team Blue had 10 American, 4 Canadian, and the rest Euros.

Team White won.

Reinhart had a couple good moves. Girgensons played the way you would expect him to. Risto played pretty well. Took a few hits. Gave out a few.

Zadorov was all over the place, but he needs to learn to not put himself out of position while still being able to play the physical game he wants to.

I'm sure she's good at what she does (insert joke here). However, I'm not so sure what she does is really what can turn a good player into a great one.

Corey Perry is the only example you need.

They have to be on their entry level deal.

The one guy that wasn't there that I've yet to hear a reason for, is Connor Hurley.

I liked him.

He made it a point of trying to get under the skin of Grigorenko, who was his oppositions top offensive player

Not sure anything was blame, just questioning how a skating coach is really supposed to help someone "turn the corner" on their development.

I don't get it either... (the reason for doubting another coaching tool to make someone better)

Big wall of text (sorry):

Mikhail Grigorenko played on a line with Dan Catenacci and Hudson Fasching. The line didn’t score, but quite possibly they were the game’s best line.

Once the three got a cycle going, they sustained pressure on the goaltenders. If it wasn’t for some sparkling goaltending by Linus Ullmark, the trio could’ve been on the board.

Grigorenko has bragged on Facebook about the work he’s been putting in this summer to be stronger and better. It’s work that his coach in Rochester Chadd Cassidy has noticed, “I think he’s been good all week. We all know Mikhail’s strengths and weaknesses and I think he’s addressed them, I think he was really good with the puck tonight and I thought he was way better without it and he was that way at the end of the year in Rochester too.” Cassidy added, “He continues to make strides and we have to keep in prospective that he’s still a young kid and he’s got the right perspective coming into camp. He knows there’s a lot in front of him and he’s got a lot that he has to earn and we’ve been really happy with his attitude and his work ethic.”

This reminds me. Fasching looked pretty good yesterday. Seems to love driving the net. Something we have desperately lacked for the most part for years (other than Vanek).

I think that Fasching and Baptiste are the wingers that I am most looking forward to getting up in Roch/Buffalo besides Armia.

My new Sabres crush, replacing Vanek. I think/hope the kid is gonna be a stud goal scorer.
