Yes. You are right. I will unless I want to listen to some incoherent stupidity. Again, excellent retort. Prove you wrong and your post non factual and this is your reply? You two are both very consistent. - Cptmjl
And you far too impressed with your own opinions so I guess it is even.

I'm curious to see who starts the year playing with Tavares and Okposo, I assume it's Nelson considering he played extremely well there in limited showings last season. They're pretty stacked down the middle with JT, Grabo, and Nielsen. Assuming the young guys like Nelson, Strome and Lee take the next step in their continued development then things are starting to look really solid.
I'm curious to see what forwards they'd move out. Everyone wants Bailey gone but I'm not sure what kind of value he holds. I'd like to hang onto Grabner for the 3rd line but he likely carries a little more value than Bailey. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. - eichiefs9
The Islanders will probably add a scoring winger either early on if they aren't doing well, or towards the TDL if they are at a bubble. It just seems like Snow wants to be in the playoffs at this point. |

They just can't seem to make the right moves. Too bad , they do have some talent . I love watching Hall . He has a gear no one else on the ice has. - Maximum Signal
Hall is a beast. Any team would love to have him. And those who say they don't are mentally deficient. |

Who are "those" GM's? - Cptmjl
Honestly if you don't think Myers has huge value I think you are kidding yourself.
Apparently Murray was offered The 24th pick and "another piece" from Vancouver and Murray said no way. He laughed at trading him for the 10th pick |

I would too in a weaker draft. People want Myers, its well known. Myers should be kept until the next draft, then see how much he's offered for him in terms of players for players. |

Like I said. Consistent. Hopefully Myer's finds the kind of consistency you two have in this thread. He may be worth half of the trade proposals you two turned your noses up too then? |

I’d say the truth is somewhere between what you two are saying. There are quite a few young teams that would love to add him, I’m sure. But he hasn’t panned out as hoped, just yet, and his contract, while not terrible, isn’t great either. Depending on what you mean by huge value, I think you’re probably overstating things. But it certainly would be decent, unlike what the other guy seems to be suggesting. |

For someone who gets stereotyped a one year wonder and his play is "declining" it's surprising to me any GM would offer a package including a 1st rounder.
The truth is, Myers is a very good player who's only 24 years old. If he gets moved it will be because Ristolainen and Zadarov pan out and the Sabres get offered something they can't refuse.
I love the spare parts offers though, Player X we don't like + a prospect that isn't out best + a token 2nd round pick to make it look sexy
Nothing like that gets it done |

I'm not saying he doesn't have value. Like i said earlier I'd actually take a shot at Myers. I like him but did you see some of the proposals your two colleagues were scoffing at? People were throwing crap lopsided(In your favor BTW) trade proposals for fun at them sarcastically and they were still saying no |

There you go again . We are rebuilding . Myers will not be traded unless it is a massive overpayment . This overpayment must also fit in the needs in the rebuild . Cannot make it any more simple than that . Now go twist that into whatever fits your agenda in here.

If Snow adds a scoring winger instead of a top 4 defenseman at the very least(if he doesn't add one by the start of the season)if this team flounders every Islander fans head on the planet will explode. |

It is hilarious when people like to offer Quincey, Lecavalier, Baily, Edler, etc.. along with those B-C prospects.
People seem to think defensemen age like forwards when in reality, they play their best game around 30 and continue to get better IQ wise afterwards, even if they slow down from their on. Lidstrom is a great example of just kept getting better into his thirties.
Myers, we can probably accurately judge when he hits his late twenties. Until then, he's a good player with a huge size advantage who has some struggles. But, its not really fair to call a 12 foot defensemen a bust at 24 after 2 good years and 2 blah years. |

How pissed would you be if Islanders, Sabres and Blues all made the playoffs this season and those first rounders are for naught? - YzermanIsTheMan
Islander maybe, Sabres fck no, St.Louis a for sure. |

Agreed. Was just throwing a what-if.. Loaded draft year and Sabres get (frank)ed out of McEichel with three first rounders. The terrible irony that would be. |

Throw in Snow's old goalie stick and I think Winnipeg will jump at that. |

Yeah. That's what I did. No one twisted anything. The only thing that got twisted was you when you had a dozen people laughing at you for scoffing at completely lopsided trade proposals in your favor. Anyone that actually had the patience just needs to go back and read. One of the more ridiculously dumb discussions I've had on this site. I don't think it's a coincidence that my last one involved the two of you. Good luck in your rebuild. Hopefully all the stars line up for you guys. |

He is a wild card. Most Islander fans have a caption at the end of whatever they think he'll do. |
