I won't be cheering to lose. In fact all the games I went to last year were free. I'll always cheer for them to win when I'm there. The reality is that they suck, and I'm okay with it.

Other than Sabres games, I caught quite a few LA and those Dallas games I mentioned. I stayed away from Eastern conference teams for the most part.

TV coverage in the area (Central Florida) wasn't really bad this year. It seemed like there was a game on nearly every night.

That's really just how the NHL has it structured now. If you have NBC sports and NHL network, you can watch a game just about every day.

I'll be curious to see how much the Sabres are nationally televised. Yes, they're terrible, but they still draw, and boost the ratings especially during the winter months.

Miller is the best goalie in the last 10 years

Myers is the best young sabre since 1975

Flynn sucks

Girgens is the next ROR

Tim Connolly was a gifted player

Ruff is a great coach
Ruff sucked

That should appease the mass

My favorite part, is the longer it gets dragged out, the more make believe opinions become facts.

My new favorite -- "Mark Pysyk was better than Myers"

I saw that and almost lost my lunch.

Then there is the usual suspects under valuing Myers and over valuing other teams prospects that haven't played a full NHL season or one that hasn't played a game yet

Mantha who has never played an NHL game and was a mid 1st rounder a year ago, has 10x the value Myers does

What if we traded Joel Armia for Dougie Hamilton.

Not a chance Boston would move Hamilton for Armia

Hamilton is going to be there go to guy in a year or two when Chara retires.

Edit: I think I am getting your sarcasm now, I'm a little slow

I really, really hope so. That kid is slow as molasses. He's got talent, but he's going to be easier to gameplan for than most people think.

Slow? He is a very mobile D. I don't think I have ever heard someone call him slow

The World Juniors in 2013 exploited him. I've heard plenty of people call him slow. He's going to be good, but if Boston pegs him as their #1 defenseman when all is said and done, I will be very excited.

He's pretty good. I don't think he can replace Chara though I would agree

Oh I agree that he's good. He's going to be a very good offensive defenseman, but if Boston ends up considering him their #1, and I doubt they will, it bodes very well for the rest of the division.

Who can though?

In all seriousness Hamilton is going to get smarter playing the game and his mistakes will go away. He is now a better skater than Chara was at his age and he has a Pronger like size to him.

I would gladly have him on my team

This #1 defensemen gets throw around on here like they have to be a Norris Candidate for them to be considered a #1 D.

There are maybe 10 teams in the league that have a true #1 D on their team if that's the stipulation to be considered a #1.

And the ones that have them are the elite teams in this league.

Nashville?

Phoenix (Arizona)?

Minnesota (they aren't elite)

The Rangers were really good this year I don't consider anyone on their team Norris worthy
