while i'll admit I haven't seen the kid play too often you do have to give up to get.. If not Hurley then who? You cant hold onto all your prospects.. especially at center.. we may have a bunch of decent ones but based on sheer numbers alone they wont all be on this team so if you don't want to give up on Hurley then who?

Problem is with Kane, it's like the Myers discussion. Detroit isn't gonna get Myers for spare parts, just like we won't get Kane for spare parts and just decent prospects.

E. Kane definetly interests me. I think you could probably get fair value in a hockey trade with the Jets. Myers and Hodgson for Kane and Bogosian. Just an idea here but I think it seems fair. We get the better forward, they get the better D.

Same. I still don't think he's worth blowing a wad on. The value of Coho and Enroth for Kane might not be fair, but it's all he's worth to me personally. The guy is just so damn negative, along with the fact he plays a rough game which will lead to plenty of injuries along with he still hasn't hit 60 points.
