No, sweet would be:

30. Buffalo
29. NYI
28. St. Louis

That's super-sweet.

I like this line from that SI article:

Even with that cut-off, it wasn't easy to whittle down the top five clubs. Well, it wasn't easy to narrow down two through five. No. 1 was a no-brainer.

Mitchell sure but not flynn, he's a solid 3rd line option for us, i wouldn't trade for just AHL depth.

Flynn is a 3rd line player on the "old team" 4th fringer this year.. solid 3rd liner is a bit of a stretch..

Still confused about bringing back McCormick. Unless it's due to the departure of Scott.

Need a guy who can chuck em when needed. Unlike Scott, he can actually play 10 mins and not hurt you.

Plus, he's extremely popular in the room. Its not a bad idea, lets just say that.

Has there ever been a 4th liner that wasn't labeled a "great locker room guy" ?

Just wondering, it's seems like that's said about every bad hockey player ever

I hear ya, but McCormick really is. Maybe I'm bias cause I've hung out with him several times. Just a great guy.

He will stand up for his teammates always, not every 4thl line can say that.

Id pencil him as our 12th/13th forward

They needed to spend money.

If you're gonna reward a guy, might as well be somebody who lays it all on the line, night in & night out. And Cody McKormick is a warrior.

Also consider TM wanted to assemble a stout Bottom-6...

Foligno/Girgensons/Stewart, Delauriers/McKormick/Kaleta is all that & a bag of chips!!

id like Larssen in the middle, then 2 of the 3 you listed on the wings fairly equally.

I know Teddy is very adamant about protecting the kids, but it would be nice to see some of these guys.

I'll assume Ristolinen is up next yr, but guys like Larsson, Adam, Armia... It would be nice to open up a little more roster room to give some of these kids a look.

Nolan is a different story all together. He's gone when we get good.

That's at least 5 yrs away IMO.

McEichel will need to get his skates under him.

I think we can be a playoff team as early as 2015-16 honestly. IF we suck enough next year to get McDavid or Eichel.

If the Sabres won the cup with Nolan, Buffalonians would march to toronto and burn it down!
......because we would want to burn something.

Not happening... Wish it would. Would be incredible if it does happen but I think he gets signed to an extension this summer. Now if he does make it to the start of the season without a contract then maybe... maybe... we could overpay 8-10 million a year for 10 years..
