Sorry to tell you all the Sabres are not going to continue to tank. Their line up has improved the last 2 weeks and will continue to improve!

The NHL will have McDavid in Arizona if they have their way!

Might be one more substantial trade before we move forward. I'm looking forward to next weeks prospects camp at FNC, who is going?

This team was the worst team in a long time last season. None of the players they signed are capable of making that big of an impact to get them out of the lottery.

Ott and Stewart are a wash IMO. Erhoff was good. Who knows how gorges and mezarous will look. A lot of potential to be a better team.

Arn't you missing the two biggest players we had starting last year. Vanek and Miller??? Miller single handily won games for us last year. Won't have that luxury this year.

If anyone is going to be a wash with Ott, it's going to be Gionta. Unless Myers has a career year, the offense from the back end is going to go from pretty bad to utterly non-existent without Ehrhoff.

We added real roster players to the position that di'agostini, Leino, konopka, Tallender, mcbain/Sulzer all held.

IMO we end up with 7-10 more wins and finish 27-29th

They can try all they want. They will be worse. Gorges will be our best goalie next year. Enroth and Neuvirth are going to be light up on a nightly basis.

I would say 2013 (shortened season) was the typical meltdown season. A lot of veterans, even had career worsts. Last year was a case of the team just being plain bad. However, I don't think they finish last. They're not getting out of the bottom five however, and it will be quite a feat to even get out of the bottom three.

Bcz he won't be here ahead of deslaurier or mccmormick or Flynn or Foligno and those our are possible 4th liners

Mitchell should be ahead of Flynn.. I haven't seen Mitchell play too much because he was basically hurt the entire time he was here but the only thing Flynn has done for this team is be a slightly above average penalty killer. He's got about as much offensive upside as a broken stick in quicksand... If Mitchell can do the same or close to the same effort on the PK that Flynn has he'll be a mainstay on the team over him.
