this year.
are you saying that hamhuis and vlasic are better?
they play a different game. subban wasn't gonna put put in place of them.
there were only a couple guys that subban was actually competing with.
not much a diss to say one is behind Duncan keith is it?
tell me you understand this.
I love how people attempt to frame their points to drive it home. - hugefemale dog77

Doughty weber keith pietrangelo
Ok Canada's 5th dman - Bigern4MVP
pietrangelo is prob abit better overall, but not near the game changer. I think with those first 3, alex was looked at as a more defensive conscience.
and you pretty much just named 3 of the top 5 dmen in the game (as well as chara-suter). is this meant to be a mark against subban to be behind them?
it was probably the best defensive effort ive ever seen from a disgustingly good group

At this point in time, not particularly. Especially given where he was picked.
He may tun into a late bloomer though, so I won't write him off yet... |

We'll end up trading him to EggStall for Giroux, Simmonds, a prospect and a first before season starts. |

very smart play by subban's agent. a 5 year contract would be ideal. leave about 500k on the table per year and take a 5 year deal. home run the next deal. |
