Doughty is getting 7 figures on his next contract without a doubt. He'd get it right now, if he hadn't been locked up for less out of his entry level. LA got lucky that he played beyond the contract when you consider that the 7mil was Doughty's demands and LA was reluctant.

I don't think PK should get 9 either. But what everyone isn't taking note of when saying, "how can he make more than _____" is that they aren't signing contracts now, they all signed when they weren't the player they are now. If they were signing now they'd be making significantly more in most cases.
