the only situation where i might even consider tipping is on christmas if i used a small corner gas station and saw the same attendant every day.

we tip at restaurants, we tip moving companies or service people like that, etc.

basically you have to have served me food or come out to my house to get a tip. and even then i'm only giving you the money to leave me alone now because we're done here and your small talk while you were fixing my water heater was relentless and brutal.

Mainly just tip at restaurants since servers get paid like less than $3 an hour and they rely on tips.

Everywhere else it's just a bonus to them.
