AT-AT Walkers

they're a terrible idea.

Large, slow and top heavy. they can only attack if you're directly in front of them and they don't look very maneuverable. I'm assuming you need some highly specialized training to operate them and they can probably run on relatively flat terrain.

Visibility must be highly restricted. I imagine they need an extremely wide turn radius and they're far from stealthy so it's near impossible to launch any type of surprise attack with them. Even if you could the size of the transport required to offload them on the ground would alert everyone to your presence (that being said I now wonder why the Empire decided to drop them off miles and miles from the power generator on Hoth).

They just seem like some type of Darth Vader vanity project that nobody had the courage to challenge.

this is inevitable:

the newer, sportier AT-ST seems a bit better but then again it doubtful as to whether it's really practical for field use

They have so much armour though

Like, SOOO much

If we don't keep the uplinks up we have no chance of defeating them.

Phaneuf is overpaid but Ottawa sent junk to Toronto so it's like the Leafs/Flames trade all over again. Nobody wins, nobody loses.
