You don't seem to be able to find the "right to wear a mask (face covering)"...........and need i remind you the Niqab is not religious, neither is the Burka or the Veil, as ALL these face coverings were used to subjugate women 100's of years before the birth of Islam, and is not required in the Muslim faith............ but for some reason you've been duped into thinking the opposite.

Also please remember that the Charter of Freedom and Right apply to Canadians, and NOT to persons inthe process of becoming Citizens.

You "Elites" seem to forget that point, eh?

- D0PPELGANGER

Dopps, I made it easy for you by bolding the key parts.

While many sections of the charter specifically mention citizens, section 2 explicitly states that these fundamental freedoms apply to everyone. So, unless you don't consider Muslims or women to be people, this section has them covered, citizen or not.

Assuming you're not wrong about it being religious gear, even though you cleary are, I also bolded the "freedom of expression" part. That covers clothing, religious or not.

Look it up............veils, Burkas & Niqabs all pre-dated the rise of Islam. Men in that region of the world have been subjugating women for a long time now, and you're okay with it's NON religious symbols being brought into Canada.

such an Elite!

Permanent Niqab or face veil is not an Islamic requirement; it is a personal choice since Niqab is forbidden during Ihram according to most contemporary scholars

Islam has flexibility in many issues and whether a woman likes to wear the hijab or the niqab, it is her personal choice; both are acceptable but according to the opinion of many contemporary scholars, niqab is not required.

A) Way to ignore the rest of the post, dismantling your terrible argument.

B) Religion is open to interpretation... while some scholars may say it isn't part of the religion, others do, and perhaps more importantly, many practice it, as they are told to by their religious leaders.

C) I'm sure your concern for women's rights extends towards finding a solution for the wage gap, and making birth control and abortion more easily accessible, right?

I honestly don't get ducking questions like that.

He's not a politician, doesn't really have anything to gain by pretending not to be wrong. Just be happy you learned something and move on. Maybe say thanks.

Interesting. So if the majority of Canadians decide they don't want Harper, you'll be on board with that?

The Canadian voters are always right, which ever party wins the most seats, forms the government.

Besides the majority of voters vote FOR a party representative in their riding, not AGAINST another.

The CPC won just over 53% of the seats in the last election, so they formed a majority Government............looks like were headed for a Minority government this time around...........with the NDP finishing a distant third.

So the time before when only a minority voted for Harper... Harper was the wrong choice?

And when the Liberals where in power with a majority, that was the right choice?

And when Nickelback is the top grossing rock band, they're the best musicians in the genre?
