I am hitting 270 yard bombs off the tee
my short game is near flawless

I will say this Florida grass is easier to hit out of in the rough at least but not when it comes to my short game. It will take me time to adjust to that.

I really thought I was going to have the round of my life yesterday.

#1 is a par 5 I smoked my drive was about 290 and hit an iron to the green walking up I was feeling pumped but a 4 putt bogey changed that real fast

I have changed my approach big time on course management

there is a 300 yard up hill par 4 at the course I play
very tight with trees and ponds lining the left and right, a few traps in front of the green

I use to bomb it and it was feast or famine

now I hit 5 iron/wedge and never do worse then par

my mindset on fast greens is to lag any putt over 20 foot

I have changed my approach big time on course management

there is a 300 yard up hill par 4 at the course I play
very tight with trees and ponds lining the left and right, a few traps in front of the green

#1 is a relative easy par 5 to start. I went driver, 5 iron expecting to come up short and have a 30 yard chip to the green. It was early in the morning and I haven't played in a while so I took a nice easy swing and I don't think I have ever hit a 5 iron that flush in my life. Oh well. I am looking forward to playing more often now

Had I known it was that fast I would have done the same even for eagle. I would have much rather had a 3-6 footer for birdie than a down hill 20 footer for it!

Golf it Now is going to be my bible for the next few months I am down here until I find a course I really like. I have a friend that works for Disney so I can play their courses for $29 which isn't bad. They also have a membership like club that is $100 a month or so I might do that. I have to find a permanent residence first!

My fav course in Orlando is Orange County National. Falcons fire in Kissimmee is another nice course.

Do you really think Murray pulls off another trade? We have 14 forwards and 7 D at the moment. I know there has been some chatter with Ottawa possibly but I'm just not sure we're going to see it.

Been over this before about the D but yeah I do.. We do still need to add 2 defenseman to the organization.. Those will likely be AHL adds but yeah I think we make a trade for Stewart before the start of the season and this Ottawa thing seems like it could be part of it
