You guys are talking about grunge bands, and The Melvins are out of context?
- Blackstrom2

I'm not missing the point. The point I made was that those two bands brought grunge mainstream, which they did.
- golfingsince

Yup it was just those two bands. None of the others had any part of it.

Is it just me or is all of today's music sang by a bunch or no talent homos ?
- Reveen

Music today is all image, a computer can clean up anyone's voice enough to make them sound normal when in reality all they have is nice hair and no talent.

Me n Jero joining in january last year really revitalized a dying kind. Brought life to where there was none. I'll give Jero the 15% credit where credit is due
- TheNugeIsHuge

Well I do miss the multiple near bans you faced when you referred to everyone as "Bub". You gotta bring that one back.

There is no mainstream music that isn't bubble gum pop. I'm dubbing this the "queer eye" generation.

Are the smiths rock or pop??

Cause theyre in any top ten list of mine.

80's post punk and nowadays 'alt', or 'emo' (Interpol, broken social scene, bloc party, etc) or whatever u wanna call it is the all time best music imo

I think that was my original point before you went all "Simple Jack" on my post that suggested that any band outside of Nirvana or P.J. had anything to do with grunge being big.

Jesus H F@ck you retard. That is what music is , is one person's personal taste and how they view what music is to them. Is the concept that two peoples view of what is rock, and what is hard rock may differ???? If that is his rock list, then that is his list. You can't define music for the entire world, based on what your egotistic, narrow minded view of it is. H.A. said it bet but I will try to do him justice here. "Die of Aids in a Fire".
