Meh, I'm really not a giant fan of making them, and when I do they're not very good...

Which I find hilarious since the NHL hated Darcy when he was here
- Stripes77

I think it was more resentment of the fact that he stayed employed so long despite a laundry list of blunders.

U missed my point
Can't blame Darcy for bad drafts and not give him credit for good ones
It works both ways
And even if u wanna give the credit to Devine...
Who hired him? And who went with his suggestions?

All that aside...
My original point was that Murray has been given some really good talent to work with...
I'm waiting to see what he does with it before I have the kind of faith in him that others seem to have

Larsson=trade bait?
- Sabresfan-365

Hopefully Larsson as either an awesome 4th line center that can move up
Or
A 3rd line winger, and eitge Lemieux or Compher can move up

But I'm lazy

Maybe I just need to practice, because all of the tacos I make are lackluster.

- LetsGoBuffalo75

Choose the Taco Bell or Ortega powder stuff instead of McCormick. The McCormick stuff isn't so good.

It's quite easy, brown beef, 1.5 cups of water and 2 packets of the powder for 2 lbs of meat (qty may vary, these amounts are what we make for 4)

We love taco night at home, even have our own song.

I'm not trying to bad mouth Murray or anything
But a big part of this rebuild was done before he got here
I am excited for what this team could be in 4yrs or so though
But that also quite a long wait...
And as 89 would say,
We've waited long enough

Hopefully this time we get it right!

Meh, I think it will actually help them. Darcy wasn't the best on pulling the trigger on acquiring a lot (late in his stay), but damn could he unload guys!!!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thursday, July 3, 2014

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed Darcy Regier to a multi-year contract to serve as the team’s Senior Vice President and Assistant General Manager. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are very pleased Darcy has decided to join us in Arizona,” said Maloney. “Darcy adds intelligence and experience to our management team. The wealth of knowledge he has garnered as a long time General Manager in the National Hockey League is invaluable to us. He is a great addition to our staff.”

Prior to joining the Coyotes, Regier spent 17 years as the General Manager for the Buffalo Sabres, which was the longest tenure of any GM in the franchise’s 44-year history. Under his guidance, the Sabres advanced to the Stanley Cup Final in 1999 and made four Eastern Conference Final appearances (1998, 1999, 2006 and 2007).

While with the Sabres, the 58-year-old Regier oversaw all aspects of Buffalo’s hockey operations, as well as the Rochester Americans, its AHL affiliate. Among the players Regier drafted as General Manager of the Sabres are Ryan Miller (1998), Derek Roy (2001), Jason Pominville (2001), Keith Ballard (2002), Thomas Vanek (2003), Drew Stafford (2004), Jhonas Enroth (2006), Tyler Ennis (2008), Tyler Myers (2008), Zack Kassian (2009), Mikhail Grigorenko (2012) and Zemgus Girgensons (2012).

Previously, the Swift Current, Saskatchewan native served in roles with the New York Islanders as director of hockey administration, assistant coach, and assistant general manager.

Regier was the fifth choice (77th overall) of the California Golden Seals in the 1976 Amateur Draft. He appeared in 26 NHL games over the course of three seasons with the Cleveland Barons and the New York Islanders, totaling two assists and 35 penalty minutes.

HOMEMADE TACO SEASONING MIX

1 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. each ground cumin, paprika, powdered oregano and sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Makes 3 tablespoons of seasoning mix, which is equal in strength to a 1/4 ounce package of commercial seasoning mix.
For a spicy variation, add 1/2 teaspoon of ground ancho pepper and 1 Knorr Chipotle cube. Use only half of the salt

Yep...
Pretty similar to mine
Adjust ingredients to taste
I like to use lean beef and cook at a high temp
Not a huge fan of most store bought hot sauces, so I'll make my own fresh salsa to go on it as well
And I like to experiment with different cheeses too instead of the prepackaged "taco cheese" mix

I don't think of Lemieux that way... That's my point
A guy drafted that high should have more of an offensive ceiling
I do love the way he plays though

We'll see on Cornel. Haven't really seen him at all, only highlites so i can't really judge
But the thing I dislike about our last two 2nd round picks is how we passed on Dougherty, who I think will be a really good defenseman... And McKeown, who was a top10 rated guy coming into this season with a very high ceiling

- jdfitz77

Sean Couturier, Tom Wilson.. Steve Ott.

They're not all supposed to be offensive juggernauts. They're all however supposed to be NHL players.

I hear ya
I'm just saying with high picks look for offensive upside
Late 2nd and 3rd is where I'm looking for grit & depth players though
If that makes sense?
