Exactly...I don't know how much more it has to be said on here... people are upset we didn't throw money at Stastny, or any of the other "big fish" this summer...but I can bet that IF we did sign a big fish, people on here would've complained that it was "too much" ...just can't please people on here man..
We're doing good...so far so good. It's the second (frank)ing day ffs...Our roster isn't even close to being set. Give it time. Don't criticize until next April, depending on if we made the playoffs or not. Nobody's a damn psychic, you WON'T predict the season, I don't care how much you try and convince, or think you know everything, you can't say how bad or say how good this team will be. - MCharisma91
Its all about throwing money at the right players....and Stastny would have been great in between JVR and Kessel....On the otherhand, you could see......well no wait, I could see that the Clarkson signing was a disaster before it even happened. |

Now get rid off Colton Orr and his useless ass.....play a young gun with some speed and enough talent to pot a few goals on the 4th line...
If Orr plays another game then this is the dumbest coach we've ever had.... - CarlitoBrigante
orr and mclaren better not see another game in a leafs jersey. let the kids play and we should be better |

Anyone who bought a jersey with those names is stupid. Those are all mediocre hockey players. I can promise you that no one in Montreal walks around with a (frank)ing Lars Eller jersey. - DoubleDown

Like he did in game 7 against the B's?? |

players leave $$$ on the table to go to better teams...not saying Stastny got an offer from us, but he most likely would've went to St. Louis regardless...
and give it a break, it's one season..and it wasn't a full one. I think & hope Clarkson will bounce back. |

Never seen a fan with Corsi on the back of a jersey. Sports is entertainment and consumers buy jerseys of players they like |

I dunno I never saw the point of getting a jersey with a name. I just go blank. They player isn't there for the long haul. They're mercenaries. PK Subban's contract will prove that players don't give a poop about anything other than their $. |

that's a whole different scenario. that's one game, and i dont think he played much when the game was tied. he only played 8:23 that game. |

Sadly, Clarkson will not bounce back. Hes a player on the decline, more a product of the NJD system....ala Holik, Gomez and now Clarkson.....their safe play does not translate into wide open hockey. He cannot skate, he doesn't have balance, and his goals are usually when he is immobile.... |

God this is getting frustrating for myself.
We are better.
Leo and Frattin > kuli and Raymond
Polak robidas > ranger Gleason gunner
We are much tougher and will be much harder to play against.
It's been 4 days and nonahan are doing a good job IMO - Bigzby
It's frustrating cause it's not true.
We've lost scoring.
We gained a 3rd/4th liner that had a little chemistry for a little while during a HALF A FACKING season. Guess what the leafs would have made the playoffs this year had it only been 48 games too.
We traded for a 5th/6th dman and signed a 4th old injured dman and then overpaid for an energetic 3rd/4th liner.
We are so much better! |

i'm sure he will see 10+ mins a night. time on the pk. with injuries he will probably move up and down the roster. not to mention he can be thrown on a higher line during the game if a line is having a bad night. i wouldn't be surprised if they used him as a 3rd liner. |

What scoring did we lose?
And being a more well rounded team with versatile players who will play specific roles makes us better. |

We didn't upgrade anything....Kulemin, Raymond are both better than Frattin....Bolland and arguably McClement are both better than Komarov....Gunnarsson is better than Polak....and Robidas will play like 20 games. |

Look up the players no longer on the team and count the points they had
